PREP TIME: 10 minutes

COOK TIME: 50 minutes


3-4 ripe bananas ( I used 3 )
5 tbs melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tbs turbinado or "raw sugar" ( to sprinkle on top )

Preheat oven to 350°. Butter a 4 x 8 loaf pan. Mix all ingredients together except turbinado sugar, then pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle turbinado sugar on top of batter. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the middle of the bread comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool. Take bread out of loaf pan and slice to serve.
